I'm considering a Garmin...what features are your favorites that I should consider? Are the cheaper models ok? Is it worth springing for the 220 vs the 10? I'm most interested in pace, time, and mileage.

ETA: I'm seeing several of these for sale on Craiglist. Is it okay to buy these new? Are you able to wipe the settings easily?

I am currently using a 610. I really like the touch screen which is very easy to manoeuvre between screens. Very quick to connect with satellites. Works well in the rain and also with gloves on. Tracks everything you're looking for and more. I first had a 405cx which was also very good. one issue I had with it was with the control bezel (it didn't respond well when it was wet ). Also had to send it for maintenance once they just replaced the unit (one of those times when a warranty paid off) Great service. I think you'd be satisfied with any Garmin as far as quality goes. Their online site "Garmin Connect" that syncs with your unit is great, tracks all your runs and stores for future reference.

I have the Garmin 210, the cheapest model with GPS. I absolutely love it! Sure it would be nice to have it upload with Bluetooth instead of plugging in to my computer, but not worth the extra $$$. It is easy to use and the GPS can track your runs in the middle of nowhere. I wouldn't get a used one because I wouldn't want to wear a dirty old chest strap that some stranger had sweat over:)
