Long distance running advice.

I have decided to set myself the challenge of running the Warburton Trail. It's 35 km(21miles) one way, mainly flat but some steep hills as well. I currently run about 30km (18miles) a week.

I have set the date as 23 Feb - 21 weeks away and just need some advice on training. I only started running at all 6 months ago and probably walk as much as I run each time.

Any suggestions on how to build up to this distance?

You could try a beginner's marathon plan there are plenty online. Though as you only have 12 weeks you could be pushing it a little. Normally the advice is to increase your distance no more than 10 per cent a week to avoid possible injury.
