Hi friends! i am just having a very bad day!, Today i weighted myself, and i gained 2 lb, how is that possible!!!???? , i have been eating good clean and good choices, and i don't know what happen to my metabolism!!...i am doing also p90x everydays without skipping my rutines, and sticking the best i can to the nutritional plan!, because i eat less than tony horton says i should eat (i just can't eat that much!!). Many people says that sometimes we gain weight at the beggining of p90x because we increase our muscle and we have that soreness that retains some water! but i have always been doing weight lifting so i don't think this is the cause. I also dont have too much to lose, only 4 kg, 9 lb. Well know i have gained more:cry: ....Can somebody explain me what is happening to me and my body? Did you have the same experience?....

Please help..i want to cry all day long:cry:

    Don't be disappointed!!

When I started Insanity I gained weight but still kept at it because my measurements were going down and you can tell in my weekly progress pics the program is working.

Than once I hit week 3 the scale started to go down. Than this past week I last 5 lbs in one week!!!

Your body is probably in shock - I know my body was when I started insanity because it wasn't use to so much intense exercise. Now my body is kicking it in gear. I don't follow the food plan cause I'm a picky eat so I try to watch what I eat or serve myself smaller portions.

Just don't get discouraged and keep at it!

Hopefully you will have a good weight loss next week! This does happen sometimes but it normally drops the following week. I will keep my fingers crossed for you

Don't be disappointed! muscle weighs more than fat and you look fabulous! I am sure your clothes tell the real tale! It took me a month to lose 1 pound so I know how you feel - Just hang in there. I have lost 6 pounds so far! I don't have that much to lose either and the exercise is the hardest part! keep me posted.

We all have those weeks. You have probably gained muscle. If you are eating significantly below what you should be, your body could be fighting back, thinking it's starving. A few years ago when I lost weight I cut my calories to 1200 after a month or so and stopped losing. When I increased it to 1700 - 1800, I started losing again. Extra salt can cause the difference, too. Good luck!

Stop, take a deep breath, and relax. Two pounds is nothing to freak out about. Keep being consistent with what you're doing and monitor your weight and inches over the next few weeks. If you still don't like what you see, then you need to do something different, but a couple of pounds (or more) in even one day is absolutely normal and doesn't really matter. It's what the long-term changes are that count. Hang in there!

Weight can flucuate due to water retention and other factors. So instead of being disappointed with a small gain and focusing on that, think about how you "feel" since you've been exercising & eating healthy. I bet if you're truthful with yourself you feel better and have much more energy. . .it's not always about the number on the scale!! And I agree with "sim247". . .next week may be an even better weigh in if you keep up the great work like you have been because sometimes your body just needs time to adjust or catch up! Stay positive and keep up the awesome job!!!!

the body is an odd machine and as you get closer to your right weigh you body has trouble regulating and with women producing so much estrogen will send your body on one crazy ride, I have met women who have gained up to 10 pounds in 3 days just to drop 15 the next week.

The good new is that after 6 months to a year of being the around your goal weight you will level out.
