30 Day Shred - Cardio or Strength Training?

Hello,

I've posted before about being interested in strength training/weight lifting. My finances at the moment are not going to allow me to purchase the equipment needed to begin any sort of weight lifting program. I do, however, have Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred dvd. I've heard it called cardio with strength training before... Would you say it would be a good place for me to start, and then as the money becomes available I can begin an actual lifting program?

    Hi, I have done the 30 DS, it has amazing results, i only ost a few pounds but lost the inches, and stamina was improved quite a lot, i always used other exercise dvd's but the 30 day shred will definately tone and improve your strength.

    It's a great start, but it's a cardio DVD, not strength training. Enjoy!
