1200 vs 1300 -- huge difference!

When I first started MFP almost a year ago, I was eating 1200 calories. I was also working out with a personal trainer 3-5 times a week -- so I upped my calorie intake to between 1300-1500 depending on what the day held. I would also eat back some of my exercise calories.

Due to personal reasons, I ended up taking a break from MFP for about 6 months (still logging in every day, just not really tracking anything). about a month ago I got back on the band-wagon for serious.

This time though, I set my calorie intake at 1300 -- what a difference that has made! At 1200 calories per day (sometimes eating back exercise calories), I always felt hungry all the time. Even with allowing 1300 calories per day, I feel satisfied. As in, I'm usually not desperately hungry all the time.

I don't know if this is mostly a mental thing, or if it's legit. Anywho -- just thought I'd share.
