Withings Scale

Has anyone purchased the Withings Scale? I actually need a new scale... and I'm trying to take my weightloss/health more seriously. I have a Jawbone UP band that I LOVE.. and when I actually pay attention to the data I find it helps keep me motivated. But I also don't want to spend $150ish on something that isn't that helpful.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I don't have the Withings scale, but do have a Fitbit Aria, which is very similar. It's been very helpful to me. I weigh in every morning and use the trend data from trendweight.com as my guidepost. This helps me keep from freaking out over fluctuations and see what's really going on with my body over time.
The body fat percentage data from these scales isn't necessarily accurate - see http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/830595-body-fat-estimation-methods for good discussion on this - but seeing the numbers trend over time can be useful, informative, and motivating.0 -
Yes, last month I bought the Withings scale WS-50 and I am enjoying using it. It recognises me and shows my name when I step on it, takes my weight, body fat %, and then measures pulse and finishes by showing the temperature and CO2 reading.
Having synched it with my MFP account the weight and body fat readings automatically show up there. If I go for more than one weigh in on a day then it uses the latest reading.
One nice touch is that the scale came with batteries, which were also pre-fitted in the compartment -- a lot of thought had gone into making the set-up and use user-friendly. Design and build quality seem very good.
Overall it's a bit of fun in the morning but definitely a 'luxury' as opposed to a must-have.
I have been positively impressed to the point of replacing my Nike Fuelband with a Withings Pulse device. This means I am now using the Health Mate app alongside MFP to monitor weight, body fat (from the scale), and pulse, sleep and activity levels. I like that the pulse sits in my pocket which gives a more accurate reading than the Fuelband and is less visible at work; I also like that it measures pulse and sleep. The Health Mate app pulls food information from MFP - though it doesn't pull down 'extra' exercises like swimming that I've added to MFP.
I realise I'm coming across as positive about Withings - let me just say I am nothing to do with that company or the industry and that there are improvements I'd wish for in their Health Mate app but I am overall very positive about their products.0 -
I have withings and it works fine for me. The ap for your Iphone that tracks your weight and graphs it is pretty cool and can help measure out fluctuations from water weight and what not...0

I don't have a withings scale, but I do have a fitbit zip I use religiously and a very good, reliable scale that I use daily. I don't want to track daily ups and downs to tell you the truth. I do find it helpful to see what my numbers are every day and to note when I've gone outside of the my daily 'bounce' range.0

I have the Withings scale and LOVE it! Auto updates everything for me and syncs with MFP nicely. I also like that is shows the body fat percentage. Well worth it in my opinion.0
