Purchasing an Elliptical

Any suggestions on what to purchase for my home?

    My dad bought an expensive elliptical (second hand) and I love it, It really gives you a good workout. So I bought one for my own home and its a cheap one and I don't like it nearly as well, I hardly use it, so my opinion is test them out before you get one. I have a treadmill thats nice to walk on in the winter and I also got a home gym a few years ago which doesn't ever get used either :( Maybe I should dust it off tonight.....

    The key to finding the right elliptical, and being sure that you'll use it is making sure it's "smooth." If there is any clicking, shaking or flimsiness you'll be discouraged from using it.

    I love my Smooth Fitness elliptical. It is more expensive, but the quality is like those commercial machines in the gym.
