Anyone doing HCG

Is it bad that I wanted to save some of my pee during pregnancy to sell to people wanting to do the diet? { } <----Sarcasm brackets btw. But seriously, not willing to do a diet that relies on pregnant lady pee.
I've heard of pregnant women selling their positive pregnancy tests, why not sell the pee along with it?0 -
Though I dont advocate long term VLCDs they're brilliant for kickstarting your diet. - great motivation when the first weight drops quickly.Just be careful and listen to your body, stop immediately if you feel ill.I did VLCD at the beginning of mine then changed to calorie counting and logging on this site -MFP is great! I exercised all way through the diet period, used the exercise calories to add to my deficit and felt great - I lost all my weight, in the best shape I've been for years and I am maintaining well - just take responsibility for your own diet, make your own decisions and good luck.0

Cool. It's been a while since this one popped up.
How difficult would it be for MFP to check new posts for the letters "HCG" and at least prompt the poster with a reminder of the part of the CG (all hail) that addresses diets like this?0 -

The reactions to this thread will be harsh, but we're (most of us) decent people--we just believe in hard work and sustainable weight loss. Diets that damage our bodies and waste our money tend to be a trigger around MFP. Best of luck in reaching your goals!
one of the few respectful posts on here. nice people do exist0 -
I did hcg last year and lost like 20 lbs in 20 days. I wasn't hungry. It works good if you use the actual hcg. It's been banned and everything out on the market today is synthetic. I want to try it again when I'm done breastfeeding.0

I tried the HCG diet... a couple years ago. I spent a crapload of money on everything, and lasted...wait for it... THREE FRICKIN DAYS! I was literally starving myself. I was blacking out at work and everything.
Save yourself the money, the time, the energy, the frustration, the hunger pains, and the health-risks and just do a normal 1200 diet and track it on MFP along with exercise -- you'll be better off in the long run.0 -
OP, here's another thread about someone's hcg experience you may find useful.

I have never done it because I've seen my friends do it over and over again for years. They claim it works and I respond "if it works they why do you keep gaining it all back?"0
