Let us start this converstion with the fact that i own no cellphone. I'm wanting a GPS that i can use to do things like runkeeper or map myride. Anyone else out there in the same boat or have a good recommendation for GPS to use? If so, what have you used yours for and do you like it (and why).? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what exactly the features are that you are looking for but do you want a GPS watch? My Garmin plugs into the computer and I can see a map of where I ran plus time, distance, pace, elevation, etc...

the garmin Forerunner 10 is a nice entry model. check out DC Rainmaker for some reviews in picking what might be a good model for your needs (110, 210, 10, etc)

    I use a 210 that I got off ebay

MarineCodie a GPS watch would be fine if it can plug into my PC. What Garmin model do you have?

ekz13 - thanks for the advice.

Any of the Garmins would work. You just have to figure out what you want from the unit. I have a 610, I liked the touch screen and it works well i the rain. Lots of bells and whistles also.
