Ive seriously got to pull it together. I need suggestions. I dont want to hurt myself doing this, but I need to lose enough weight/inches to be able to zip up my bridesmaid dress. Ive got a good 6-7 in gap across my mid back where I can't bring it together. I can zip it a little but my stomach looks like a stuffed sausage and the dress is supposed to be only fitted around the bodice.
SO, need ideas, Atkins and the zone are totally out of the question. I like fruit and veggies to much and I dont want to have to think about food blocks while chasing a toddler.

Talk to a nutritionist. My friend was very successful on Weight Watchers and another on Nutri-System. All in all I have been told, high protein, low carbs and cut out all white (pasta, rice, potatoes and bread). Good luck!0

The Nutritnist is a good suggestion if you have access to one and can afford at least One consultation. I would take in a sample of the Menu you normally eat for a week or so to let them see what your Likes & Dislikes are. Also let them know if you eat out often.
The Main changes I made to my "Diet" were eliminating ALL Pop~even Diet, adding at least One steamed Veggie to all meals, and limiting the amount of White Food I eat. I drink Milk for the Protein & Calcium, but other than that it is strictly Water, Coffee, and Green Tea.0
