What to eat, need calories, fiber and carbs.

Hello.

I tend to be pretty low on carbs and need to find some foods to eat that are high in fiber,medium in calories and carbs.

Right now looking at my Food Diary I get way too much fat, and protein (but it's healthy so I'm trying to not think so much about this) but what can i do about being so low on carbs?

    Went back just over a week in your diary, you're not way over on protein, mfp gives a very low protein %. The fat's not too bad either.

    If you are using the MFP defaults your numbers are not bad. I find I do much better with higher protein and lower carbs.

    i do 40/40/20 typically- I'm stabling out on coming higher into carbs- mostly because I need to get used to it for an upcoming bulk---YAY food.

    so high in fat and protein is not bad- I have days where I'm at 60 % fat (usually I'm really behind on protein so I have to play catch up- but yeah) high fat isn't tragic or awful.

    I'm confinved there is no such thing as too much protein- i could eat steak and veggies every day for the rest of my life and be happy. seriously


    MFP is a guide. you may adjust it as you like- I don't LIKE high carbs- i eat to much and it makes me feel bloated. You have to find what works for you- as long as you are hitting your calorie goal and there is not a big inbalance making you pitch one side or the other violently- you're fine. finding a balance that helps you meet your goals is really the top priority.
