Leangains?

I recently stumbled upon leangains.com (& http://www.theiflife.com/intermittent-fasting-101-how-to-start-part-i/) and am thinking of starting IF next week after I get back from a little trip. Based on what I read under the pros section of the 2nd website, I feel like this would be a pretty good fit for me. Right now my schedule looks like this: Work 7:30pm-4:00am Thursday- Monday (my weekend is on Tuesday and Wednesday), class on Tue and Thu 4:30-7:00, Wed 7:00-10:00, Mon & Wed 2:00-3:15 (this one attendance isn't required and since it's really easy I don't usually go), then I also have 2 online classes that I do homework in when I get time. I go to kickboxing bootcamp Mon, Wed, & Fri 4:00-5:30 and lift weights Tue, Thu, Sun. I go jogging 1-3 miles a few times a week too and take Sat off. I'm currently eating 1700 calories, with macros set up like 40% carbs (170g), 30% protein (128g), 30% fat (57g).
From what I understand (which admittedly is not much- this is a new concept to me after being sucked into the whole eat more frequently thing, which in my case has led me to eat smaller meals/ snacks more frequently but also being kinda hungry in between, which sucks) I should start out fasting for 14 hours (the leangains website recommends women start with 14 then move to 16). With my work schedule I'd be waking up around 11:30am, having 10g BCAA pre workout (on lifting days), then eating my largest meal after my workout around 1:30-2:00, then I would stop eating 10 hours later (this would be right after my lunch break at work). Then on non lifting days (bootcamp days and my rest day) I would still wake up around 11:30am, but wouldn't eat my first meal until 1:30-2:00ish. Am I understanding this correctly?
Any advice, general thoughts, or experience would be really appreciated!
Oh, I'm also 5'9, 158lbs, and my first goal is 145, then possibly lower. I was only eating 1600, but I'm pretty sure that's not enough with how active I am, so I'm in the process of gradually increasing to 1800-1900 (I just bumped up to 1700 today).

I love IF
I did a calorie restricted version of it for weight loss (JUDDD) and now that I'm in maintenance I've naturally gravitated to a 11am-7pm eating window, usually with two meals and then a green smoothie and one snack.

How much were you eating for weight loss? I'm not sure if I should be eating the same amount every day, or if I should eat a little more on workout days.0 -

There's a JUDDD group on mfp I'd recommend checking out. There's also a more laid back version, called the 5:2 plan which is pretty popular and there's a 5:2 group here as well
