Has anyone tried the FitBit? If so, what are your thoughts? Pro's/Con's? For those who are like "What the heck is she talking about?" I've included the website.

Thanks!!

I don't have one, but I heard they are very easy to lose. I guess the clip that holds it on can easily come undone or something. I don't remember fully but I do remember the thing I read people were complaining about easily losing them, so just watch out because that would be $100 down the drain.

i have a friend who has one and she SWEARS by it, loves it! The other poster is correct, though - many people have lost them. Most people recommend getting a lanyard like what you would use on a pedometer, and that seems to work fine. I ordered one myself - be prepared to wait, they are on serious backorder. I ordered mine in June, and they're saying it'll be shipped on 8/10. I really can't wait to get it - it's supposed to be very accurate for steps, walking, running - and also helping analyze sleep patterns.....

Does it track your heart rate and calories burned during workouts? Ive been looking into getting a heart rate monitor but if this thing also does that, then maybe I should get it! I really like that it tracks your sleep patters, I already know I dont get enough rest and that is probably the only thing really hindering my weight loss at the moment.

I don't believe that it tracks your heart rate as you do not have to wear it close to your body. You can wear it around your neck or in your pocket.
