strength training calories

When I add a cardio exercise I get additional calories added onto my daily calorie allotment...but none when I add some weight exercises...it doesn't seem to affect the total.
I couldn't find anything in the database for the P90x workout calorie used (although I can't do any of them right now since I fractured my wrist!)
Am I entering the info in wrong...or does only cardio count towards additional calories.
Many thanks.

I think the strength training section is just for logging sets and reps. If you look under cardio for strength training, you can log your minutes there to get the calorie burn added.0
