This showed up on my Yahoo front page just now, and I agree with every one of them!! The comments are "eh". Such as #2, exercise causes your body to shunt blood away from the digestive tract, to the muscles. So if your tummy isn't getting blood, it won't digest food, so it won't want food. Period. You may be hungry later depending on your calorie consumption for the day, but I think a lot of it is in our head. We think because we exercise, we need to eat. (I don't want to get in to the "eating your exercise calories" argument.) And #1, I think he is partially correct. You WILL continue to burn more calories after a higher intensity workout, simply because your body temp has increased, as well as your heart rate. But in the workout itself, I believe it to be the same, most people just go further while running.

I don't get hungry right after exercise but after a bit yeah, your body starts craving food. Calories aren't some mysterious fat producing magic, calories are energy. When you are low on energy (calories) your body will crave more. The point is that you shouldn't stuff yourself with the wrong kinds of calories. Something nutrient rich and preferably a protein.0
