My journey so far... But not complete!

There is a lot of backstory to my weight gain and weight loss, but I will spare you the crazy run on sentences and give you the shortened version! Lol
I was a dancer at a very young age. After three years, I Went on to compete professionally and then ended up in a not so stable situation. If only I was told that it was "okay" not to be as skinny as my peers, and that being healthy was at their best interest.
At 75 pounds and 5'1 I found myself with severe kidney issues due to my unhealthy habits. Steroids were put into place and this poor teenager who was struggling from weight loss, was not gaining without calories.
After three years I gave up. I found myself at 180 lbs. I hated myself. The kidneys were functioning fine now, but I was unhappy. So I decided to finally take account for my actions and decided to do this right.
Three years later, I met my future husband who taught me that health was more important than fitting into an image in my head. Yes, I struggled daily but, he was a physical trainer and I trusted him. Three years later I was at 118 pounds!
Three months after we got married we had an amazing surprise pregnancy. Of course with that came the weight. However I was okay with it this time because I was growing my little angel. I lost the weight after a year.
Three years later, I finally was able to get pregnant again and had a terrible pregnancy which put me on immediate bed rest. Constant hospital visits, etc and I found my self very out of shape. This put me into a not so great mental place.
Once I had my little one, three weeks late, I knew that it was time for me to think positive. After the doctor gave me the green light, I began jogging. Then jogging more. Then doing c25k. Now turbo fire...
And three months later, although I am not in ideal physical shape, and there are a ton of wobbly bits, I decided to post that it is a success finally. I lost my pregnancy weight and managed to do it in a healthy way!
So to anyone struggling with anything like this, I am here. I've been through it. I understand.
I am almost at my goal, and I hope to be posting another post like this in three months!

Awesome work. I have respect for women as they get pregnant and put on weight if they like it or not and then have to lose it again and I know a few people that dont bother and just carry on life with the extra weight.0

Good luck! You've done great and even if it takes you another 6 months to lose all of it- don't quit!
Feel free to Friend me if you'd like. my baby is about to turn 1 and I have not lost all the wobbly bits yet- but I'm still working on it.0 -
