Mini Rewards?

I was looking for some suggestions to use as mini rewards because I seem to be really struggling coming up with stuff.
My main problem is that I'm pretty low on funds (full time student) so anything more than $10 or $20 a month is a bit of a stretch. I know enough to not use food as a reward based on my own consumption issues. However I'm also really low maintenance. I'm not motivated by massages, manicures and haircuts.
I love animals (zoology major) but I already have three cats and a snake, I can't exactly fit another one in there.
So if anyone has any suggestions that worked for them I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks!

Well I put £1 in a pot every time I go to the gym and then when I reach a goal I treat myself by spending that money on a want rather than a need.
I often end up getting a new piece of gym gear - even something small like a water bottle can help me look forward to my work outs.
I also reward myself with trips to the movies, a new tshirt or piece of costume jewellery.
If I want something bigger I'll roll forward the funds to the next milestone. Just now I'm aiming for a new pair of ghym shoes as my current ones are pretty much done in.0 -
That's actually a really good idea. It's pushing it a bit because I try to go to the gym 5 days a week but... I really like that!
Thank you so much!0 -
This may be a silly suggestion, as its not really treating you....but you could always make a small donation to an animal shelter, and then theyre getting the benefit even if you can physically look after them0

On my list is: a manicure and/or pedicure, a new cookbook, a pair of shoes... I try to pick things that I buy or do impulsively. It helps curb my spending and gives me something to look forward to.0

Oh my gosh that's a fantastic idea! I love it! I always want to donate money to the ASPCA but never have the funds to really do it! This way I'll be setting funds aside and it'll be so rewarding!! Thank you much!0 -
Glad I could help
