From slim to fat to athletic to fat :(

Hi everyone,
Not a new member but don't participate in the forum until now. I don't know how many times I've logged into my fitnes pal planning to start something but fast forward a few days and uh oh... forgot to log in and 'forgot' to eat healthy!!
I have been slim - fat - athletic - fat - slim and now fat again
10 years ago I decided I wanted to lose the weight and tone up so I began a regime of not eating carbs after 4pm (completely cutting out junk food for the first month then introduced chocolate back in as an ocassional treat). I was eating plenty during the day, wheetabix for breakfast, pasta salad or jacket etc for lunch and just veg/meat/ eggs for dinner.
I attended areobics 3 times per week and just danced my way around the house and lifted tins of beans, bottles of water whenever I felt like it. I got nicely tonned and athletic with a 4 pack!!
Fast foward 10 years and all that weight is back on and some!! I've tried what I did before but struggling this time, My 'need' for carbs in the evening and chocolate every day is stronger than my 'need' to be slim I wish it wasn't but that's the truth.
The only way I will get back to how I was is to do something about it I'm just not quite ready yet... no point asking for help because I probably wont listen, no one can help me but me.
p.s my photo is of me 4 years ago when I was only starting to put the weight back on. I am bigger than that now
