Try a kettlebell workout. I can't think of the one I had but I don't remember there being any jumping. I have the same issue with the knees.

I highly recommend Slim in 6, personally. It doesn't use dumbbells but you can use them, it comes with a resistance band though.

Jari Love does some really good strength training DVD's. Any of the Ripped series by her don't have any kind of jumping things and you can use as much weight as you can handle. She shows modified moves for those with various injuries as well.
  • 10 minute Solution Kickboxing. You really will work out in 10 minutes and it's fun.
  • I like Leslie Sansone. When I was younger I did kickboxing and amateur boxing but getting closer to 40 I like low impact and more moderate forms of exersise.

We need to know your goals before we can point you in a direction.

What are your goals? Having your goals set, and knowing what type of workouts you've already done can help. Also what is your schedule like? Think about it, and if you want to send me a message and we can talk to see if I can help you. Take care.

I vote that you go to the beach - and find everyone with awesome abs - and ask them all what 30 day video they used!

    Oh....oops she.

In all seriousness. I have both P90X and Zumba box sets and they are fun but just not really my kind of thing (actually thinking about donating them to my command because I never use them). I like going to the gym and launching weights above my head and making the little high school boys scared. But both Zumba and P90X are great workouts.

Google the nerd fitness bodyweight workouts. They will get you started right and give you exactly what youre looking for. You can choose to do the circuits for time, or just see how many you can complete. They are perfect. Changed everything for me.
