Heading to Disneyland tomorrow, and just wanted to inform everyone that I will NOT be eating anything remotely healthy. :drinker:
Now that I've made a plan, let's see if I can stick to it. Wish me luck!

Corn dogs off the red cart are the best. And the caramel popcorn at DCA. Disgusting?? I think not. Have fun!

A couple of years ago I spent 8 days in Disney World. We did the dining plan, so we ate breakfast in the on-campus hotel, lunch at their counter service places, and dinner every night in a sit-down restaurant.
The food, particularly at the actual restaurants, was superb. I couldn't believe how good the food and service was at each and every one of the 8 places we went to were.
And it was all perfectly healthy, as most food is.0 -

Of course with your topic title.... I thought you were going to ask for tips on how to 'eat clean' at Disneyland. My suggestion was going to be, 'don't eat anything off the ground.'0 -

I make no guarantees!
We've been a gazillion times and I don't think I've ever seen the red corn dog stand! I'll have to keep my eyes open for it.0 -

We've done the Ariel's Grotto lunch and dinner a couple of times. I was impressed! I've also had really good meals at Blue Bayou. We're going as a reward for my 8 year old getting straight As at her new school (for the gifted -- mommy brag!), so she'll be choosing where, when, and how we eat. Thankfully she has a pretty advanced palate, so it won't be ALL junk, but I'm sure there will be ice cream, candy, churros, or beignet at some point.0 -

Not sure which Disney you have been to, but the three Disney's I've been to the food was amazing with a lot of options ( Euro Disney being the best).0 -
Not necessarily true! My husband works for Disney and we're both doing Paleo. We're both able to eat VERY healthy when we are there. Try Bengal BBQ if you want! Otherwise.... rock out! and enjoy it!0

Oh I know it's infinitely possible to eat healthy at DL, no matter what plan one follows. I just have no intention of doing so on this particular trip. :bigsmile:0 -
So one free day at Disneyland, eating whatever I wanted . . . . then we decided to go to Universal Studios on Sunday and had another free day. Um, yeah, 3 days total, between travel and parks and I'm up 9 pounds! Of course my legs are crazy sore, so I know most of that's water and will be gone shortly. Totally worth it! :blushing:0

You didn't eat anything off the ground, did you?0

Nope, but it was close there for a minute. If I had dropped my churro, I might have had to pick it back up and eat it!0

I'm going to be at Disneyland for four days starting next weekend, and I really wish they provided nutritional information so I could log my meals and snacks. I've been losing weight slowly and steadily for almost three months and I don't want to blow it while I'm on vacation. If I can make it through Thanksgiving and Christmas I should be able to maintain my diet on this trip, although I would feel better about it if I could stick to my now established habit of entering everything into my phone.0

We just went again last week for my daughter's birthday. Plenty of options are available if you WANT to eat healthy or lower calorie.0
