I had a shoulder arthroscopy a few days ago and wont be able to return to work for 6-8 weeks. I am due to start physical therapy 2x per week in 2 weeks. I really don't want to get in the habbit of watching tv all day and eating the next 6-8 weeks. I' plan on walking as much as I can. I've been doing tdee minus 20% so I was planning on sticking with my sedentary calorie intake of 1400 calories per day. Does anybody have any tips for weight gain prevention during surgery recovery?

Maintaining or losing doesn't require exercise. Watch your calories and you'll be fine. Walking is great exercise and since you have all day to do it, go for some long walks. You can also do squats and lunges.0
