Hungry all of the time

I am on medication that has increased appetite and weight gain as side effects. I am hungry all of the time. I have tried drinking water. It helps, temporarily. I have tried exercising. It also helps. temporarily. So, here I am stuck at the end of the day with no more calories and a GREAT, BIG APPETTITE! It's maddening, frustrating and depressing. How will I ever lose weight if all I want to do is eat? Any ideas/ inspirations would be appreciated.

If you can do it, try dividing your calories in to 4 small meals and one larger meal, so you can eat five times a day!! It really helps me a lot!!

I agree. I go 6 meals/day - some are more just bigger snacks. Probably 4 are meals. I try to go lighter in the AM cause I'm not so hungry then. That way I have more at night - I'm a night owl - to snack on/eat a meal on.

Unless medically contraindicated - be sure you get loads of protein and fiber - keeps me full for longer. I aim for 100g protein and will up my fiber back to 40g again soon. I was quite full at that level. Hiatus was planned - working my way back to plan.

I couldn't open your diary so that's all I have to suggest.

I'm always hungry too! I just have to get out of the house and/or keep myself busy. I like to walk to do my errands -- burns calories like crazy and distracts me from food/keeps me out of the kitchen for a long time. Or I do something sinful like walk to a store and try on a bunch of clothes/just browse, or shop online, but I don't always buy it bc then I'd be poor haha

Or I play video games! Or tweeze my eyebrows lol
