Can't stand them; they remind me too much of those cheesy work inspirational posters. Now progress or the being close to achieve a self-imposed milestone really motivates me.0

From a milk commercial:
"It's better to have a body in shape than to obsess about the shape of your body."
Been on my fridge for a long time. When I stop looking at it, I am in trouble and I know it but I decide to ignore that fact.
Phooey to me.0 -
Quotes can be inspiring.
Free tip- when I'm really really really lacking motivation- I watch an action movie where a fit girl kicks *kitten*, ie Alien, Underworld, Anything with Michelle Rodrigues. It makes you want to work out hard. Works every time
That is an awesome tip!! Next time Im not in the mood - Underworld is going on!0 -

Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body. - Seneca, Roman dramatist, philosopher, & politician0

Not quotes but the movies...
Yes Man
peaceful warrior
had a profound effect on my outlook on life
If you haven't read Yes Man then you should. It changed my life. The abomination of a film nearly changed it back again, but not quite.0 -
Some. This was one that really helped me start and continue my journey..... I actually found it to be quite accurate too!!

Results inspire me. Quotes, not so much. When I shave some time off my lap, when the scale moves, when I'm able to do just one more rep or add more weight: That is what really gets me fired up!0

These three quotes keeps me motivated.
Every breath is a chance to make a better choice.
Every plateau is followed by a breakthrough.
Consistency is key.0 -
yeah, I love motivational saying (as you can tell from my profile pic) haha
I find them inspiring when I'm feeling down.. but some can be really generic and cheesy..
but then you'll come across a really heartfelt, beautiful quote.
one that stand out to me is:
"never let your fear decide your fate" from the awolnation song, kill your heroes0 -
I'm not usually inspired by quotes, but some of them make me laugh, and that's just as important. I do like this one, though:
"Do or do not. There is no try." - Yoda0 -

YUP. Like this one too!0 -
Not a huge fan of quotes but this one keeps me on the straight and narrow.
"the cost of excellence is discipline, the cost of mediocrity is disappointment"0
