I went shopping yesterday, and tried on a pair of jeans that made me feel like a rock star! For the first time in a loooong time, shopping made me feel good about myself.
My stats:
Height- 5'4"
Highest weight- 207
MFP starting weight- 202
Current weight- 139.8
The jeans in the picture on the left are a size 16. This picture was taken in Nov. 2011, and I was probably about 195 lbs or so. On the right, a pair of size 6 that I tried on yesterday, of the same brand (Lee jeans- nothing fancy).
You are a rock star!!! How awesome, what an inspiration!0 -

Fantastic! You look great. I just got into my 180s for the first time since 2004. Feeling so proud. I am four pounds away from being just "overweight" rather than "obese" ;-)
I am looking forward to that and continued weight loss. You are an inspiration!0 -

Wow, I am overwhelmed with all the responses and friend requests I've gotten! To be called an inspiration is very humbling. It's hard to imagine that I could inspire someone else, since it's all so new to me!You are my new inspiration! You look fantastic. How long did it take you?
I reached my highest weight, 207, in January of this year. I lost the first 5 lbs just kind of generally eating better. Then my husband introduced me to MFP and I joined at the beginning of March, at 202 lbs. I hit 220 days straight yesterday or today.
I'm very close to my weight loss goal, but I have new things on the horizon. I've been training for a half-marathon, though I'm currently sidelined because of a knee injury. I might not make my goal of running 13.1 before the end of 2013, but I will do it. And after I do, I may start looking towards running a full marathon. I really enjoy running, I feel like it clears my head and I feel like I'm accomplishing something.
I'm very lucky that I have a partner in this. My husband has lost way more than I have, but he doesn't go around bragging about it.0
