Does anyone else look at calories like currency?

Yes. And the more 'expensive' the meal means I have to 'work' harder for to earn.0

All the time - I want maximum tasty for my daily allowance...0

Hell yes! I need to spend it wisely. Can't go blowing the budget, at least not often.0
-
Yes. And I even talk about budgeting calories for something I want to eat later. :laugh:0

Yup. hubby and I do the same thing. lol. We work too hard to burn the cals to just waste them frivolously on the first pop tart that happens by...lol0

In the spirit of this tomorrow i have Thanksgiving dinner at my parents place. Tomorrow is my lowest calorie allowance of the entire week. Monday its my parent in-laws.0

Totally. I can't see wasting calories any more than I can waste my money. It has to be worth it.0

Totally! I'm always thinking about my budget for the day. I explained this thinking to a friend of mine and she thought I was brilliant, I'll have to tell her that I'm not that smart lots of people think this way!0

We do the same thing. I always talk about whether or not something is in my budget. Last night, she asked me if I wanted a fruit smoothie. I answered, "I'd love one, but sadly I can't afford it."0

Yes I do. And I even tip sometimes too!!!0

I totally do this! But also with nutritional stuff like protein. Oh what this only has 3% protein for my daily needs /scoffs/0

When I am cutting, yes. If I want to spend more, I have to earn more via cardio.0

Sometimes! LOL0

Every day! Drives hubby insane sometimes but finally got him to give me a heads up when he wants to go out so I can earn some extra credit! lol :laugh:0

Yes. It's really similar when you think about it in terms of budgeting. I always talk about spending calories.0

So last night walking my wife asks me. "How far do you think we will have to walk to burn off dinner tomorrow for Thanksgiving?" Without thinking I turned to her and said "Halifax" which is about 1hr drive away, lol. Going to do my best to budget today but hell there is always burning off the extra. Too bad we couldn't do the same with money when we run short.0

Nah. I'm frugal, but not that frugal when it comes to calories.
