Looking for buddies

I am just a guy 65 years old wanting to get healthy. I joined about a week ago and I think I understand how most everything works. I am ready to add friends. I consider myself motivated after a lifetime of battling my weight. I want to get thin and win. I want to circumvent the problems that could happen if I don't reclaim my health. I bought a pedometer and that got me off my couch. I started walking and craving fruits and vegetables. Omron was the manufacturer of the pedometer which led me here. I am excited about the ability to track everything. That which is measured improves. I eat healthy whole foods for the most part, not completely plant based but I lean that direction. I have 65 pounds to lose and want to get past just walking and add activities/adventures to my life.

I'd love to enjoy the ride with people. I ask that you not be afraid to share tips and insight that I might get better. I will try to do the same.
