Good or Bad Idea?

So i would like input MFP

Is been several months that i been struggling to lose the last 10 to 15 pounds and also working out to tone my body. My failure is not starting but just sticking to it and following thru. Would like to know what y'all have done to kick that dedication into high gear when you kept getting off track?

I'm thinking about doing something drastic(at least for me). Seeing i'm still uncomfortable with the way i look, I'm thinking about putting a current pic of me, maybe in a bikini (or something similar) as my profile pic. I would leave it as my profile pic until i'm able to to post a pic with my new progress. Sounds like i'm bullying myself, but i'm hoping that just wanting to change my pic would kick my butt into shape...any thoughts?

    I don't have any advice on getting motivated other than just doing it. I have a super cute dress hanging on my bedroom door that serves as a form of inspiration. I see it and remember how badly I'd like to wear it (and other things like it) and get my butt moving.

    As far as the profile picture, I couldn't do it. If I was uncomfortable with my avatar, but unwilling to change it until I could update it, I'd probably frequent the site less just so I wouldn't have to see it. If it won't be counter-productive to you, then go for it!

    Can someone bully themselves? Lol, if it's inspiration you need, what about clothes? Is there something you'd really like to wear? I'd say buy it and work at it until you can fit in it the way you want to. Do a challenge. I'm doing a 21 day no junk challenge. It seems to have kick started me.
