First anniversary ideas

Hi all :) It is the first anniversary of our love life on Oct 31st. We got committed by this last time. Most probably will get married by next year beginning..date is not fixed yet. Any gift ideas? I really want to cook for him..so can u please come up with interesting recipes? I don't cook regular. So it will be fine if the recipes are simple for me to try as a beginner. Simple desserts, chocolate balls..anything will be okay. It will be so nice u..if you can suggest any other gift ideas :) One more thing: we don't live together and most probably i can't go to his home or cook for him..so the only way is to make something and gift it the next day.
