Hey everyone
Just wanted to introduce myself here.
Ive been on and off Weight watchers for years. I'm an emotional eater and for too long now I have let that be an excuse to stay about 2 stone overweight.
Id like to change that cycle and instead of counting points I'm now going to try counting calories and other nutritional values instead. I have asked my husband for support and as he is a legend he will help me any way he can but I realize the only way to help myself is to change myself and my attitude towards food and exercise.
I wish all of you the best on your own journey towards your goals.

We are in the same boat
I too was an ex- WW member. I got tired of tracking and figuring out points and points plus values of food.
I wasn't to comfortable of the idea that fruits and veggies are zero points.
Welcome to MFP
I prefer counting calories myself0 -
I wonder if the points counting was not that healthy after all. I think especially for foodies - I was stocking up on fruit and veg all day and it was, as you know, no points. I think it is just too hard for me to follow. I hope thought, that I am not just making another excuse. I will give this my very best shot though. I wish you the best of luck. It'd be nice to keep up with how ex ww'ers do here?0

I too had years of dieting in one form or another.. In my case I came to a point where I wanted to find something that would work for me without a lot of hassles and a good support group to help and keep me on track with daily encouragement. . I found it here and hope you can too. My diary is open to friends and I continually encourage others aa they encourage me.. It seems to be working fine !
I'll send you a friend request and you can add me if you'd like to. Good Luck !0
