I don't want to mess up my calories, but this is what the estimator says:
" Find out how many calories you burn for Kickboxing (includes Turbo Jam). The number of calories you burn while exercising is dependent on the exercise you do, your weight, and the time spent doing the exercise. Use the calories burned calculator below to see how many calories you burned during your workout."

Your Weight in Pounds: 287
Minutes Spent Exercising: 45
Calculate

Calories Burned: 937

Can this be accurate?

I never eat back all my calories, can I really be burning that much though? Yes, I go hardcore and do everything as hard as possible. Use 10lb weights when they call for weights and the weighted gloves.

    Hi

Calorie burned estimations are all over the place.

This was the reason I bought myself a Heart Rate Monitor (HRM). Chest strap works better for me.

Now, HRM gives me the calories burned per workout session, regardless. It also gives me a weekly progress or lack there of

    Good luck in your journey

930 seems like a lot. Unfortunately you won't be able to get an estimate unless you get a heart rate monitors.

That's a huge number. For someone of your size, that's equivalent to running 5 miles in under an hour. Scale it down according to what you can actually run (ie, if you can run 2 miles before crapping out, multiply by 0.4).
