So, I've upped my cardio and I starting doing strength training 3 days a week...I really want to maintain muscle mass and increase my overall body strength. I'm training with my husband for the Warrior Dash in Chicago in June. I am REALLY struggling to hit my calorie goal everyday...I have been trying to eat back my excercise calories, and I've included more nutrient rich foods like nuts, nut butters, and I love me some avocado with cottage cheese...but I find I am almost always at a significant deficit by the end of the day. BTW I am also still currently nursing our 6 month old and trying to eat back those calories too...Any pointers on things I can do to stay on track and lose the fat..at this point I am fine with not building muscle but I would like to maintain what I might have hidden under the flab. I have been losing about 1 to 2 lbs per week on the current calorie intake
