Anyone workout at the gym on work lunch break?

Does anyone else here work out at a gym on their lunch break from work? If so, how do you like it? Do you feel rushed, does it get tiring after a while, or is it fun and refreshing? What about after doing this for several months, still fun or does it get old?
I recently set up a home gym area in my basement with some dumbbells and a nice adjustable bench and so far I really like that. I did that for convenience since we have two kids now and we're pretty busy, so working out after work like I used to really doesn't work well anymore.
There is a gym about 5 minutes from my work that I checked out today with a co-worker who also goes there and likes it. It's a nice facility, not too busy, lots of nice new equipment, etc. It costs $35 a month, but my work gives us a $300 annual reimbursement to any fitness center of our choosing, so it would basically only cost me about $10 a month out of pocket. So cost is not an issue.
The gym also has nice private showers so you can take a quick shower and change back into your work clothes so you're not all sweaty and stinky going back to the office.
I'm thinking I could easily shoot up there on lunch, do 30 minutes of cardio, then head back to work and eat lunch at my desk. Or I could add in an extra weight lifting day for 30-40 minutes during the week on top of my home workouts.
I guess my main question is, does this type of routine get old after a while, does it lose its luster, or does it keep things fresh having a couple places to do your workouts? I've always just had one membership and never worked out at home before, so just wondering what others' thoughts are on this.
I'm heading down there tomorrow on lunch to work out and try it out since they gave me a free 7 day guest pass.
Thanks for any input!
