I recently undertook an allergy test which says I have a high sensitivity to rye, wheat, barley, oats and soy. No I am not allergic, I won't die if I eat it but I have had bad bloating and headaches and no energy for a while now so I would like to try cutting them out for a few months to see if I feel better! So I was wondering if anyone had recipes for baked good without these? Using rice flour, corn flour, coconut flour.....any ideas?
Thank you
Thank you

Have you ever tried Udi's brand? It's all gluten free bread and pastries:) I usually find them in the health section of my Giant store!0

I LOVE Udi's as well! Just had a dinner roll with my salad for lunch--and at only 80 calories a roll--I'd say that's a win!! I tried to bake my own bread using gf flours and such but it never turned out right, the ingredients got a tad expensive, and since I'm the only gf eater in the house, it would go bad before I could finish it.
The bonus about Udi's--I keep it in the freezer and only take out what I need at the time!0 -

Udi's are good but I'd also suggest just skipping the baked goods for awhile. The best gluten free foods are the ones that just naturally don't have gluten in them, like vegetable and meats, and instead of eating rice bread, just eat some rice. Watch out if you are going to try the gluten free baked goods route, they can really pack on the pounds when you are not looking. For me, just going for the stuff that just naturally doesn't contain those grains made for happy bowels and good daily calorie intake!! Either way, good luck and hope you feel better!0

I just posted a couple of gluten free snack recipes on my MFP blog - Strawberry Lemon Quick Bread and Oatmeal Peanut Butter Protein Cookie - I was diagnosed with a gluten sensitivity last August(for a year or more the doctors thought I had lupus) so as a cook book publisher/author I have focussed on converting my favourite recipes and trying new ones . . . all of the recipes on my blog are gluten free - http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/takerbrat/view/2-great-gluten-free-snack-recipes-6198030
