When i first started out and had a HUGE butt i would get bruises from the upright bikes. So i started using the recumbent types with bigger seats. Now i prefer the uprights and they dont hurt my butt any more.0

I have the same problem, even after doing the class for a month now. I was hoping I would "toughen up" but no luck. In for advice.0

I put my gym towel on the seat to cushion it a little bit, stops me from sliding off too haha!0

Wear bib shorts if it is an issue or just grin and bear it until your butt gets used to it.
I am a little surprised though as most stationary bikes have lots of padding in the seat unless you are using more specialist equipment like a Wattbike.0 -
Used the recumbent bike yesterday, so much better. Don't have time to go today (sick at 2 AM, slept until nearly 10, work 1-9:30, probably just collapse after work) but the time off is helping me feel a whole lot less sore.0
