Hi everyone! This is difficult to get back to exercising after so much time away from it. I just can't believe that you can lose a lot of weight without exercise The last time I lost weight I was walking 5 miles a day. Now, I can hardly walk a quarter of a mile and my doctor says to stop when the pain sets in and so I do stop and the weight stays right where it is. I am committed to learning what to eat, when to eat and walking as much as I can for the next four months. Does anyone have any idea if that is reasonable?

anything's possible, that being said, why doesn't your Doc want you to exercise? let me know, I might have some alternative things for you to try. also what part of the country are you living in?
