So.I did the tdee thing and it ave me tthese macros
Carbs - 25%

Protein 35%

I'm having trouble hittingy fat macros, protein and carbs are no problem but this just seems like a lot of fat. What could I eat to bulk that up a bit, my diary us open, if you need to see it.

    nuts, cheese....

my 2 cents would be that as long as you're geting enough protein, the other macros don't really matter so much (from a losing weight stand point, from a nutrition/health stand point you want to be balanced). So i'd say just eat what you enjoy and don't exceed your calorie limit (and get ample protein).
  • Alright thanks! Protein is definitely not a problem for me. Guess I'll have tto buy some nuts :)

Nuts are very high in fat. If you want to reduce the fat, use low-calorie cheese and leaner cuts of meat. I didn't see much fruit, so you can add a serving or two.
  • Yeah, I'm not a big sweet fan I really do need to start eating more fruit though.

i thought you were asking ways to get more fat in your diet.

if your not interested in eating more fat, and your just looking to fill out the rest of your calories, eat something you enjoy.

honestly the sum total of my exerperince tells me that protein is the only macro thats mission critical. you need an adaquet amout to hold on to your lean body mass, or grow lean body mass if that is the goal.

the rest is just preference. add carbs if performance drops
