Question

I work for a bank inside of a major store. Recently my boss promoted me up to Fundraiser Specialist.

I spent a majority of my day today standing out in front of our branch bouncing around and waving a sign to raise money. I know that my legs are sore and so are my arms. I broke a sweat and raised my heart rate.

So my question is what would I put this under as far as exercise? Is there really anything that it would fall under or just say oh well and not count it towards my day at all?

Opinions Please

Thanks

Don't count it. Think of it as a little bonus.

I don't get why people want to look absolutely everything like this. Only log things that you can quantify properly, e.g. you ran for 30mins, or cycled for xxx.

House work, cleaning, walking up a few flights of stairs doesn't matter. This will not get you in to shape. Your diet and your focused time with resistance weight training will.

Whenever I know that I am going to do something for an extended period of time that is not exactly exercise but not sitting on the couch either, I wear my heart rate monitor. That way I know how many extra little exercise nuggets I got in for the day. I then log it in my exercise NOTES. I don't add it to my exercise log totals, but just in the note section. That way, if I lose a little extra weight or have a little extra energy, I will know what occurred that day as part of the mix.
