Does this sound right?

I am 31 years old, 5'8", 214lbs :-(, male. I want to lose approx 30 lbs on a 1-2 lbs a week plan. I work out 3 times a week. MFP says my goal is 1380 calories a day.

Is that right ??? seems low.

    Recommended minimum for males is 1800 calories. So yeah, I'd say that's way too low. Did you set it to 2 lbs/week?

    If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal,
    If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal,
    If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal,
    If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal,
    If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal.
