Random Weight Loss? Legit or Fluke?

So I vowed to only weigh myself every month or so because I didn't want to obsess over calories. Well...The time came, I weighed myself, and I had lost weight. I started that time of the month right after, however, so I weighed myself as my days got lighter to see how much weight I'd have to deal with.
Well...it's 3 lbs. less than I was just 5 days ago. Do I record this? Is this a legit weight loss or is it a fluke? Will my weight go back up in a couple days? Should I just wait until November to weigh myself again and disregard this weigh in?
