I like it all ways. I like to mix it with yogurt and a banana, with pepper, tomatoes, avacado and hot sauce, in jello fruit salad, on green salad, as dip with kettle cooked salt and vinegar potato chips, plain, with pineapple...and on...and on....Mmmmm. I'm going to go have some cottage cheese for breakfast!

I'll occasionally have it with pineapple, but my favorite combo is cottage cheese with peaches.

I love it with peaches and also applesauce, even though it looks pretty gross! I also really like to use it on baked potatoes instead of sour cream/butter. Small baked potato, a sprinkle of garlic salt, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, and 2 tbsp medium salsa is a go-to dinner for me!

WHY THE HATE. I've loved cottage cheese my whole life. The perfect balance of creamy, chewy, cold, salty, smooth... ahh.

I'll eat it anywhichwayever. My recent find is blending it with pureed pumpkin, cinnamon, and a bit of pumpkin pie spice. Instant pumpkin pie.

I have 2-3 cups romaine lettuce, 1/4 Cup low fat cottage cheese, 4 oz chicken breast and 1 tablespoon of craisins for a meal. Sometimes I add 1/2 cup chow mein noodles. I crave it sometimes!
  • fresh berries and nuts

This! So yummy. I like it with blueberries and a bit of cinnamon.

Usually plain or mixed with a little greek yogurt.

If i want to eat it with something, it will be:
*Chopped fresh salad (tomato, cucumber, onion, mint)
    *fruit salad
*plain pasta - mix with cottage and ketchup (I know, i'm weird  )
    *mixed with tuna

okay... brace yourself all you folks who don't like it, because this probably won't help. Yes, I love it with peaches or apple chunks (great snack for work-- I just leave a cottage cheese container in the fridge and cut up an apple with half a cup. Yum) BUT my favourite cottage cheese "recipe" is:

    ryvita crackers
    sardines (in mustard sauce preferably)
    cottage cheese
    hot pickled peppers

sodium through the roof on this one, though. (Anyone found a low-sodium cottage cheese?)

I like it plain, but I prefer it mixed with a bit of pesto and with sun dried tomatoes if I have any.
  • I heat up frozen blueberries in the microwave.. not to completely thawed but just enough to still have that cold crunch, and the blue juice mixes nicely with the cottage cheese :) honey is also a great one to add
