I'm a big fan of microbrews. Yummm. Commercially, I love Blue Moon. If I need a cheap beer, I'll go for Bud Light.

Guinness, only in the colder months, like after skiing.
    Sam Winter Lager
    Magic Hat's Roxy Rolls
Lake Placid Pub & Brewery's '76 Frostbite Ale
    Blue Moon's Harvest Pumpkin Ale

The best beer is the beer you make yourself. Theres a lot of pride.

Gonzo Imperial Porter (with cigars), Port Brewery's Mongo IPA, Southern Tier's Heavy handed Wit or Hitachino Weizen or Deschuttes Chain Breaker, DFH 90, Bells Two Hearted, many others

I like trying all kinds of different craft beers. My husband and I go sampling any time we come across a new place. We live near Blue Mountain, Devils Backbone, Starr Hill and Three Brothers (and a bunch of other newer/smaller) craft beer places.

I tend to prefer the darker beers (stouts/porters) and wheat beers. I also like a lot of brown ales, too. My favorite of all time is an abbey-style Belgian dubbel aged in rum barrels.

I'm not a big fan of IPAs or basic pilsners. IPAs always taste bitter/soapy/astrigent and pilsners are 'just a beer'.

yuengling lager is my favorite of favorites. Yard's Brawler is another fantastic one, and there's a brewery called Shebeen's near my home in CT that makes a cannoli beer that would beat any dessert wine I've ever had. They also make a bacon kona beer that tastes like the best breakfast you could imagine.
