Just upped my cals to the correct TDEE(modified)....my diary is now set at my BMR cals and I will track and eat back exercise cals. What are some higher calorie healthy items that you eat? I'm having trouble with my exercise staying above my BMR.

I like how you think. That's a suggestion worthy of a cat high five gif.

Awwwwww yeeeeeeah!
I did have peanut butter on my list, and then I thought... poptarts trump that every day of the week. MAYBE use the peanut butter to line the poptarts, WITH Icecream in the middle?0 -

Nuts are great if you enjoy them. I use a blend of pistacio , almond, and cashews. They're very useful to fill out my daily calories.
Also I sometimes eat a bowl of cereal. WIth cow milk and raw pumpkin seeds I can get the macro balance to where I like it and can easily consume 350 or 400 calories.0 -
Avocado, nuts, extra virgin olive oil, full fat mayo, almond milk, dark chocolate0

Thirding ice cream. I hit my macros for the day then fill in the rest of my calories with ice cream. Can usually get 1-2 servings of gelato at the end of the night.0

Honestly, gelato is one of the only ways I can hit my fat macro :laugh:0 -
Peanuts. Those little boogers are 340 calories in a small vending machine-sized bag.0

Basically, get your requisite dietary fat. People tend to cut a lot of fat when they diet...I personally blame the 90's and this notion that fat makes you fat and is otherwise unhealthy. You actually need a certain amount of dietary fat for proper nutrition. I personally very rarely steam veggies...I usually saute them in some olive oil or roast them. Avocados are a staple of my diet, as are nuts and nut butters. I eat fatty fish like salmon and tuna regularly and eat red meat a couple of times per week. Partake of full fat dressings, have some cheese on that salad, etc.0
