Just wondering how much my todays cheat binging will give me tomorrow...

    111 grams of fat have a calorific equivalent of 999 calories. 4 ozs or 1/4 lb.

    If it was stored as cabohydrate with associated water (rather than fat) the weight gain will be higher but fairly temporary.

    Yep - carbs are stored with water, and so is sodium. So you can eat 1000 cals above maintenance and put on more than 130 grams of weight, because of the stored water.

    and 1 gram of carbs can retain 4 grams of water.....


    its a question with no answer unless you know how your body is partitioning calories, which you dont...

    About 6000 over maintenance

    780 g of weight plus whatever water is stored with it.
