Races are a great way to “Get U” motivated to workout. They can also be a great way to build camaraderie and support a mission. Races are something everyone can get behind; runners, walkers, volunteers, spectators…The community as a whole!


The Half Fund
On November 17th, 2013, Get U Moving Fitness presents the Inaugural Movember 5K, benefitting The Half Fund. The Half Fund is on a mission to lift the veil on cancer. It’s a not-for-profit entity dedicated to spreading cancer education and awareness through the arts, like films, books, television shows, and music. These projects will educate people about the realities of a cancer diagnosis and the treatments that follow.
