    no I'm not antisocial I just was wondering why everybody was asking for friends and as far as the woman who posted about my grammar I just don't like it when people point out flaws and they think they're better than you

    Meh, the grammatical corrections pop up frequently on the threads. Unfortunately autocorrect doesn't always compensate when people have dyslexia or syntax structure issues, but they like to point it out anyways. I wouldn't get hung up on it or you'll be arguing the toss forever. Far as the friends bit goes - its just nice to have some company along the weight loss/gain/maintenance road.

    Maybe its the just the friends you have because I have awesome friends! I love my friends! They are very supportive!

    For me, having friends on here it helps me stay accountable. This is only working for me because I do share my diary with my friends at times, and the motivate me when I finish a workout, and congratulate me.
    The only downside that I have found on here with adding random people is that a lot of people just add people to have a large number of friends on their wall, or so they will have commenters but not reciprocate the helpful energy. That really sucks, so I have found some of the best people on mfp to be my supporters, and they have helped me through a lot.

    I suggest you message someone on what their goals are, and maybe get to know them (First name basis, age, etc.) before adding them so you don't have to waste your time deleting a bunch of idiots who aren't supportive, or ever on from your friends list.
