Hi.

3 days ago I took radioactive iodine, I had a severe Hiperthyroidism caused by Graves Disease. I also had a little bit of Graves Eye disease that's why it was urgent to burnt my thyroid.

I'm very worried about my weight.... All this is very scary.

I'm curious about when does the weight come? Since when will I start gaining weight?
And until when will I know I didn't gain any?

I'm Just curious about other people experiences?

I would love to hear your story.

    I assume you'll be taking hormone supplements? That *should* take care of it, but listen to your body. If you notice that you're eating more, having more cravings, etc, you might want to talk to your doctor in case you need a med adjustment. Also track your energy levels.

    Hopefully, since you will be followed closely by your endo, you'll be able to avoid most of it. I am certain I was Hypo for YEARS before they figured it out. So it has been much more difficult for me. But since you are essentially knowing EXACTLY when you will become hypo, with correct meds, it may not even come for you!
