I always seem to end up back here...

It seems that I'm back, again. I finally buckled down this year and decided it was time to stop making excuses and lose the baby weight...you know, since my baby is now a toddler and not a baby anymore. I officially started in January. I got back in touch with my personal trainer, and from the end of January to the middle of April I managed to drop about 15 lbs pretty easily. Unfortunately, shortly after that I stalled... For months...

I finally started to try out various things like cutting out certain parts of my diet to see if it affected how I felt, not even so much weight loss, but how I really felt. Sure enough when I ditched the gluten/wheat I started feeling more energetic and my stomach felt better. I still had problems though, so I cut out dairy...and what do you know my sinus problems went away and *ahem* other issues went away. (I'm leaving that to the imagination because I don't want to go all TMI on people!) Since returning I've managed to drop another 7 lbs, but more importantly I feel better! I've got more energy, I'm not hungry all the time, and I sleep better now!

Good for you!! I am not GF but I have a friend who has Celiac and have seen the difference going GF has made in her life! I BARELY eat dairy - in fact only skim milk with my chocolate protein powder. You are doing great!!

Thanks ladies! It's crazy how fast I can tell the difference in how I feel if I have a cheat meal with gluten or dairy in it. The next day I'm almost guaranteed to feel miserable!
