I like them all! I shoot for about 60% of my cals from carbs......give me pasta or give me death!

Seeing as your profile pic is of a runner I would hope that you're carbing up before a race lol. Are there long distance runners that do well on a keto type protocol? Curious.
I don't keep track but I do eat carbs. I'm about to eat a huge plateful of hash-browns! laugh

    Yummy

Very nice! Do you use a bread maker or just the good ole' oven?

I use an oven. Takes about 6 hours from start to finish.

Decided to make cinnamon rolls and donuts too.
Every carb is 100% better from scratch.

You need to help me with the donut recipe. I can't get enough donuts but they keep cracking my fat cap (the Dunkin and Krispy Kreme ones).

I am new here and I am trying to figure out how to use the site..... I am having trouble loosing weight although I do not eat big servings of food.,, I am thinking that it iis the simple carbs that I have to eliminate...

As I read your post... it appears you eat " bad" carbs and can maintain a good weight? is that so?

I ate an entire shoe box (that's how they were given to me, in a shoe box) full of figs a few weeks ago ...

But I am a fruit freak ... the sweeter the better
and honey (love the raw, straight from the farm stuff, it's so thick you can eat with a spoon, which I have done), honey mixed with almond butter and FAGE Total (the full fat blue label) ...

I miss bread, but had to give it up because of gluten related (major) tummy troubles ... That being said, I still have rice, I love black (forbidden) rice and wild rice ... mmm ... risotto!

ETA: Ih, and sweet potatoes ... LOVES! Mashed with olive oil and sea salt ... YUM!

For the purposes of body composition and energy balance, carb sources don't matter. Now you may be opposed to the idea of processed vs unprocessed foods. That's totally up to you. I try to get the bulk of my food from whole foods since they are micronutrient-dense whereas processed foods tend to be stripped of micronutrients. I eat whatever carbs will fit my macros for the day.

I'm on 360grams of daily carbs and slowly rising. Will be into club #400 before the end of the year.

    Who else loves carbs here?

    What's your favorite sources?

    Mine:
    - White rice
    - Ice Cream
    - Froyo
    - Waffles
    - Pancakes
    - Mission Wraps
    - Skinny Cows
    - Hash Brown
    - Sammiches
    - Pumpkin swirl bread
    - Cinnamon swirl bread
    - Pop Tarts!

    I never do pasta.

Feeling SO identified right now...i could cry.

Love carbs. I set my diary a long time ago to 40/40/20, but I mostly eat a bunch of carbs from rice or noodles, veg + a bit of meat.
Being Asian, I cannot live without rice (fried, steamed, sushi rice, rice balls, risotto, arancini, rice salads, rice pudding, etc. etc. etc.!) and noodles (rice noodles being my favourite, d'oh!, but also love egg noodles, vermicelli, soba; any type, really)

eta: oh, and frozen yoghurt. I freakin' looooove frozen yoghurt!
