Help with a meal plan?

I'm having a hard time getting all my calories in. I work nightshift as well, which also makes it hard to fit in snacks and meals, but I normally do 3 meals and 2 snacks, with mostly all protein, veggies or fruit but the foods I eat are low in calories as is so my calories just aren't adding up. I'm still full, but I'm afraid that's stopping my weight loss. Also, I have my last snack at 10pm but keep in mind, I don't go to bed til 3am because of work. I try to drink water throughout the day, at least 6 cups. And I workout during the week doing 45 min. cardio and strength training. Can anyone help me out as to why I've stopped losing and provide me with a sample plan you find successful?
This is normally my meal plan:

10am omelet made with 2 eggs, spinach, and tomatoes
1 cup fruit
black coffee or tea

1pm protein shake made with Soy milk, fruit, kale, protein powder, sweet n low

4pm 3oz. lean meat- chicken or fish
salad or veggies

7pm fruit or yogurt

10pm carrots or celery w/hummus

Peanut Butter, Cottage Cheese, Almonds, and Cashews are easy ways to give your calories a boost.

  • That' what I'm saying, it doesn't amount to much. 1,000 calories most days, and I should be eating at least 1200 but I'm just not hungry and my schedule interferes sometimes. I'm just wondering if this is why I've stopped losing and if so, how can I up that? My current weight is 107. I'm 5'1. GW: honestly I'd be happy if I could just tone up a bit more. I feel if I stay 107 but I have more tone, that would be ok. Is this the weight I'm supposed to be at or does another pound or so seem reasonable for a 5'1 22 year old female?

  • Maybe drink more water, I have started drinking half of my body weight in water and I am starting to lose inches and pounds after being stuck in one spot for over a year. Take your body weight divide it by 2 and then break your answer down into 8 ounce glasses of water. I drink 11 or more glasses of water a day.

    Ex: 150 divided by 2 = 75
75 divided by 8 = 9.375 glasses, so someone weighing 150 lbs should drink at least 9 glasses of water a day.
  • How is it that water helps so much with weight loss? Out of curiousity

Water helps because it's like a cleanser.
It's the not the problem solver to end all problems when it comes to weight loss, but it definitely helps at keeping your system flowing a little better.
