exercise advice

Greetings mfps!

I was hoping to get some advice on exercise. After reading a few threads over the last few weeks it seems the best way to combine exercise is to do 2 days of strength training and one day of cardio, then 2 days strength, 1 cardio then rest on the seventh day. Is that right?

My next question is, how long do you do of strength each day and how long for cardio? I have the Jillian Michaels on YouTube and her routine takes about 25 minutes. Is that enough for each strength day? Or is it done twice a day?

And for the cardio day, I love my elliptical so that is my cardio of choice, but how long should i go for?
